Today is International Trans Day of Visibility.
Many members of The Autistic Realm Australia are Trans and Gender diverse as are some of our own children. We are honoured to know them and stand with them.
In 2009, transgender activist Rachel Crandall founded this day to celebrate all trans and gender diverse people. At same the time she recognised the need to raise awareness about the systemic oppression and violence that’s trans people face daily.
As Autistic Advocates we are committed to promoting the works of our Trans and Gender Diverse members, not just today but every day.
